Yellow Door Lets was established in 1983 by former Lancaster and Sheffield University students Colin Elderton and Carole Scott. Yellow Door Lets own the largest number of student houses in Lancaster and new properties are always being added to provide more choice. The houses are instantly recognisable by their yellow doors and all are licensed by Lancaster City Council where required.
We employ dedicated, full time staff and do not use a letting agency, ensuring that any problems you may have are dealt with as quickly as possible. We also have a team of student staff who are always happy to answer any questions and discuss the benefits of living off campus in one of our properties. Finally, if you decide to live in one of our houses, you will never need to worry about paying any bills and you could still save up to £30 per week compared with living on campus.
